Hi Everyone! I’m Abdul Haque, a Technical Fellow at the University of Sheffield AMRC specialising in Additive Manufacturing (AM). My role involves leading innovative projects, exploring cutting-edge technologies (not restricted to AM), and connecting end-users to manufacturing solutions across industries such as aerospace, defence, automotive, and space. I have expertise in Laser Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) I got involved with the technology around 2008, thermal management, and materials engineering. I have experience in design for additive manufacturing (DfAM) and topology optimization. I have worked on collaborative R&D projects across academia and industry to deliver applications using PBF-LB (local, national and international). I’m keen to support businesses at all levels with guidance on manufacturing solutions, advancing AM capabilities, and leading teams to deliver impactful projects. I’m mainly in this community to connect with like-minded professionals passionate about advancing manufacturing technologies.
